The rise of Duel

I came for the chaos. The numbers made me look again.

I first deposited on 28 August. Looking back through the deposit history, I had joined a casino already climbing into the leading group. By September, Duel was third among 41 tracked sites.

The clips reached me before the rankings did

I did not find Duel by sorting a casino league table. It kept turning up in my feed: Mini Ye, fake Andrew Tate, Clavicular and the rest of the chaos. After a long time on Stake, I wanted to see what playing somewhere else actually felt like. I put about $80 in and started my first bonus hunt.

That is why this growth interests me. I like Duel’s simplicity, the range of games and the balance between them. But my own good impression is a tiny piece of the picture. I wanted to see whether the attention around Duel was accompanied by money moving through it, and whether that was a recent spike or something that had been building.

The longer view

There was a slump before the climb

The first point in Tanzanite’s Year view is 24 October 2025: $98.5m, eighth among the 41 selected casinos. A month later Duel was fifth at $185m. Then it went backwards. By the 23 March point, deposits were $91.7m and Duel was seventh again.

I find that more useful than a tidy “new casino takes over” story. The latest rise came after several weaker readings. From March onwards, every exposed point increases: $124m, $145m, $169m, $185m, $249m and finally $360m. That is the sustained part of the climb I wanted to check.

When it moved past the rivals

On the way back up, the 21 June reading puts Duel ahead of BC Game and Gamdom again; both were still ahead on 22 May. Shuffle stayed ahead in July, then fell behind Duel in the 20 August reading. Rainbet was still ahead then, but behind by 19 September. Those are the observed intervals; the chart does not establish the exact day of each crossover.

My first session falls between those last two points. I joined after Duel had moved into fourth, during the interval in which it overtook Rainbet. I was new to it; the business clearly was not starting from nothing.

The latest endpoint

Third place, with Stake still a long way ahead

At the 19 September endpoint, Duel’s $360m sits behind Roobet’s $476m and Stake’s $2.30bn. Rainbet, BC Game and Gamdom follow. I can see why Duel now attracts comparisons with the biggest names: it is above several of them in the same deposit measure.

Stake is the comparison I know personally. I wagered more than $1.5m there, mostly putting the same balance through Mines repeatedly. Seeing its scale next to Duel makes me less interested in a “Stake killer” headline and more interested in what actually improved when I switched.

I can explain why I stayed

The clips got me through the door. The actual site kept me there. I like having the games I want in a simple interface, and the Originals’ published 100% RTP matters to me because of how much volume I play. Getting paid without a document request also made it easy to carry on using the account.

I also liked the sportsbook prices enough to start saving proper football comparisons. That is a concrete reason for my own interest in Duel. The public deposit figures show the wider activity, but they cannot tell me which of those reasons brought everybody else in.

My second session was still an absolute rollercoaster. I could have stopped in profit several times, kept going and finished with far less. A growing casino and a good product do not make me better at stopping.

Beyond the casino feed

Then Monarch was at the Triton table

The poker side gives me another reason to follow the story. Duel’s founder, Ossi “Monarch” Ketola, is unusually visible, and the matches put him in front of people who may never have watched the casino’s clips.

Triton announced Duel’s sponsorship on 2 September, covering Jeju and North Cyprus and the Duel Heads Up broadcasts. That is a dated expansion of its public presence, right in the interval where the deposit series reaches third place.

I keep the poker sessions and their results separate so this does not turn into a match recap. For this story, the connection is simple: I was seeing Duel in more places while its tracked deposits were climbing.

The account still matters more to me than the ranking

I like seeing a site I enjoy establish itself. The history is stronger evidence of that than the volume of clips in my feed. It also has a dip, a recovery and rivals changing places, which is why I have kept all twelve observations here.

When someone asks whether they can trust Duel, I still start with what happened to my withdrawals and the checks behind the fake-balance allegations. A large deposit total is one fact about a business. My receipts and the investigation answer different questions.

Source record and reading the chart

The complete exposed Year series was saved on 20 September 2026. It contains twelve points, each labelled 30 days apart, from 24 October 2025 through 19 September 2026.

What the intervals establish
The endpoint labels are retained exactly. These are not calendar-month totals, and connecting observations does not establish daily values or an exact crossing date. The first-session marker is 28 August, with no invented deposit-volume reading at that date. Earlier history was not exposed by this Year control.
What is being counted
Tracked crypto deposits, not casino revenue, player losses, wagering or unique players. Withdrawn money can be deposited again. Wallet coverage omits other payment routes, including native Bitcoin in this dataset. Tanzanite discloses support from Stake.
Earlier checks retained
The earlier same-day Month capture showed $358m at third, versus this refreshed series’ $360m. The August-labelled VIP-Grinders report showed $251m at fourth using Tanzanite rolling windows. Circus’s earlier seven-day check showed third and $78.2m, down 7.8%. These different windows are not stitched into the Year series.
